Leeds League Premiership QF:
Leeds Demons (1) 88
- York Vikings (1) 74

Vikings Prem team faced the Leeds Demons at their home court for their quarter final match up. In the previous game Vikings managed to win by 2 points, so the York team was keen to repeat with a W.

The game started with both teams being evenly matched. The teams kept exchanging baskets, with Vikings player Kevin Denamganaï leading the way for Vikings scoring 10 in the quarter. Demons though managed to take the first quarter 21 - 20.

The game continued much the same in the first 5 minutes of the 2nd quarter with not much between the teams. However, playing a 3 guard line up for the later part of the quarter allowed for Vikings to pressure Demons, speed up the game and go on a 10 - 2 run to close out the quarter. Half time score: 41 - 32 for Vikings.

However, Leeds Demons came out of the halftime with purpose and straight away Demons #9 (Shilliday) hit 2 big three pointers to close the gap and overall leading the Demons charge of the quarter scoring 15 points. Vikings struggled to score and a couple of Andy Capes threes helped the visiting team to stay in the game. Demons took the quarter 29 - 14 and went into the 4th leading by 8 points.

The final quarter started with Andy Capes hitting another big three to trim down the Leeds lead to 5. However, over the next 2 minutes the Demons went on 10 - 0 run to increase the lead to 15. Vikings managed to finally get back to scoring, but the Demons managed to counter every Viking basket with their own. As a result the York team did not manage to close that gap and with that their season finished.

Notes: Kevin Denamganai had a season high 16, while matching his career best 4 three pointers in a game. Jake Butler has now scored double figures in his 13th consecutive game. He has now surpassed Ryan Weir 12 consecutive games and moves in sole 3rd position, behind only Andy Capes, who has the two longest streaks.
