York Vikings (2) 55
- Leeds Lithuanians (2) 63

Vikings hosted a tough Lithuanians team looking to get two wins against the Lithuanians.

The Leeds team started the match out strong scoring 8 unanswered points in the first 5 minutes. Vali Moldovan managed to break the scoring drought with a 3 for the Vikings to get back into the game. Lithuanians kept beating the York zone defence with hitting big shots. Vikings kept at it and with 2 more three pointers, 1 each from Jamie Boynton and Jacob Hancock (first points in a Vikings uniform) to make the score more respectable. First quarter ended 19 - 10 for the Lithuanians.

The Vikings ineffective zone defence meant a change to man. This brought immediate results and energy and also opened up the offence. The Vikings as a result managed to win the quarter 22 - 17.

With the score 35 - 32 at the start of the 3rd quarter Vikings were looking to close the gap further. However, the away team adjusted and started the 3rd quarter strongly going on a 7 - 3 run to widen the gap. A major injury to a Arunas Urnikis (Leeds Lithuanians) let to a stoppage of the game to ensure that the player was alright. Eventually the game continued and the Vikings managed to recover in the second part of the 3rd quarter scoring 8 points against 5. The third quarter ended 12 - 11 for the Lithuanians.

With the Leeds team leading by 6 points in the start of the final quarter was a very physical and competitive game. Both teams were send to the line numerous times, with Vikings having 12 free throws (making 4) and Lithuanians having 14 (making 5). Lithuanians managed to also break the pressure defence a couple of time to score a few easy baskets to take the last quarter 16 - 12 and win the match.
