After having lost a very intense game against local rival Jorvik Warriors in the previous game. Vikings, were looking to bounce back. The team travelled to Dewsbury to face the White Vipers of Spen Valley.

Lloyd Bickerstaffe started the game out strong scoring 6 of the 10 first quarter points for Vikings. The Vipers managed to match the Vikings throughout the first quarter making it a a tied game.

The game continued to be a close match up throughout the second quarter. Both teams managed to improve the execution on the offensive end. With a balanced offence being played by the Vikings the away team managed to win the quarter by 2 points (16 - 14) and take that 2 point lead in to the second half.

Defences once again got tighter and teams struggled to finish. A couple of big threes by Vali Moldovan toward the end of the quarter allowed for Vikings to get some more separation and win the quarter 13 - 9 to build the lead to 6 points entering the final quarter.

Although the teams were closely matched, Vikings managed to keep control of the game and put the pressure on Vipers. A couple of fast break points allowed the Vikings to build on the lead and win the final quarter and with such the game as well.
