Team 2 travelled to Batley to play the Vipers from Spen Valley.

Team 2 started strong once again on the offensive end with crisp ball movement and finding the open man and making those shots. Spen Valley took advantage of their size and attacked the basket, allowing them to take a 24 - 20 lead in the first quarter.

Once again Vikings offense started to get worse as the game progressed, but in the second quarter a spirited defensive effort kept the game close and the half time score was 39 - 34 for the home team.

After the half time, the Vipers attacked the Vikings defence from the top with a pick and roll, resulting in 6 subsequent points, Vikings managed to adjust and eventually switched to a zone. Mohcen Cheref also hit 2 three pointers to close out the quarter (his first three pointers for Eagles/Vikings) to pull the game within reach.

At the start of the 4th quarter the score was 58 - 50, with Vikings still having a chance. However, the Vipers switched to a half court pressure defence and the Vikings fell apart unable to put an offense together. Subsequently losing the quarter 24 - 2.
