Vikings 2nd team faced local rival Jorvik Warriors, that were fighting to win the league, which came down to point difference. Vikings still struggled from injuries, heavily relied on Team 3 players for the game. Jorvik Warriors on the other hand already having former Viking Prem and National League D3 player Jake Butler fielded further National League D3 players in the local league Division 2 game.

Despite Vikings getting the first basket, Jorvik Warriors quickly managed to take the lead and go ahead and put a strong first quarter showing. First quarter score 19 - 6.

With the big skill gap, Vikings struggled to keep up with the Warriors. Vikings players struggled to adjust and lost the 2nd quarter 24 - 9.

The Warriors were looking to run up the score in order achieve a better point difference than Harrogate Raiders and win the league. As a result they played a press throughout most of the 2nd half, winning the third quarter 39 - 17 and the fourth 27 - 11.

Vikings were outmatched but put a valiant effort playing against a number of players from 5 divisions higher.
