Team 2 travelled to Harrogate to play the Raiders on Sunday.

Vikings Team 2 struggles from previous games, especially on the offensive end, continued against Harrogate. The York team also struggled to contain Raiders Big Man and went quickly down 10 - 2. A time out and a switch to man, helped contain Raiders offensive game slightly. Offensively Vikings managed to get open shots, but struggled to execute. With improvement throughout the quarter, the first quarter ended 17 - 8 in favour of Raiders.

The second half started of slowly and although the defence did better, offensively Vikings started turning the ball over nearly every possession. With over 10 turnovers in the quarter alone, it resulted in the home team getting easy baskets and winning the quarter 19 - 7, for a half time score of 36 - 15.

After some soul searching at half time, Vikings went back on the court determined to get stops and reduce the turnovers. York managed to only get 4 turnovers in the 3rd quarter and managed to contain the Raiders to nine points. However, the team was still unable to get the ball through the net. Third quarter went to Harrogate 9 - 5.

In search of a solution, York Vikings changed went big (playing all three centers) and switching to a half court man to man. This defence resulted in a few fast breaks and Raiders lost their momentum. Turnovers were kept down to 2 for the entire quarter and as players subbed in, the intensity was maintained. Raiders managed to slow Vikings down by fouling, with York players going 7 times to the line. Vikings managed to win the last quarter 14 - 7, but the gap was too big and the Raiders took the win.
