Leeds League Division 2:
Harrogate Raiders (1) 109
- York Vikings (2) 68

Vikings D2 team travelled to Harrogate to face the league leading Raiders. With a number of injury absences and player having other commitments, the Vikings had only 2 regular Team 2 players available for the game.

The Raiders started the game strong, motivated by trying to win the league as they are tied at the top of the table. Vikings were unable to defend against a very motivated and accurate Raiders team giving up 32 points in the first quarter. Vikings managed to score 20 points, behind Stefan Marz's three 3 pointers.

Harrogate's torrid scoring slowed down a bit, although they still managed to score 24 points, in the 2nd quarter. At the same time Harrogate's defence improved limiting the opportunities for Vikings and only allowing 11 points.

Following the half time break, Vikings put together an excellent third quarter taking care of the ball and finding the open man. Jacob Hancock and Mohcen Cheref led the scoring in the quarter and contributing to Vikings winning the third quarter 26 - 23.

Raiders adjusted their defence and managed to increase the pace of the game scoring on one fast break after another. As a result, the home team dominated the last quarter with a 30 - 11 score and comfortably winning the game.

Game MVP: Mohcen Cheref

Notes: Despite the Loss, Mohcen Cheref with 15 pts and Stefan Marz with 17 pts had season highs. Jacob Hancock had a career high with Vikings of 12 pts and 2 three pointers.
