After the strong victory the previous game against the Raiders, the Vikings had a full squad once again. The York team came in with a positive mindset despite hosting undefeated league leaders Lithuanian Legends for the final game of the season.

Once again the York team tried to shock their opponents by employing the full court press. However, the defence was not as strong as the previous game and Legends easily countered and scored 16 points versus only 5 points in the first 5 minutes. Despite swapping the bench in and moving away from the full court press, things only slightly improved for Vikings. Legends took a dominant lead in the first quarter with a 27 - 11 score.

The second quarter continued to be difficult with Vikings struggling against the physically strong Legends and could not contain them on defence. Despite different line ups and continuous fresh players the results stayed the same. Legends took the 2nd quarter 25 - 11, for a first half score of 52 - 22.

A big tactic change in the 3rd quarter by Vikings, playing a very physical brand of basketball and putting a body on the Legends whenever they got near to the basket, let to a lot of fouls. This disrupted the Legends flow and Vikings managed to get into an offensive rhythm. Vikings as a result won the quarter 25 - 15.

Legends adjusted and started sharp shooting from the three point line. Vikings could not effectively close out and the team from Bradford made 5 three pointers in the quarter. This helped Legends to win the last quarter 20 - 12 and take the dominant victory to finish their regular season undefeated and winners of the league.
