Having won the last game, Vikings now faced league leaders Wizards.

Both teams started of rusty and exchanged baskets until the 4th minute, with Wizards having a slight 8 - 6 edge. The away team went in a 6 - 0 run over the next 4 minutes, before Vikings called for a time out. The time out helped and new substitutes Charlie McNichol made a 3 and free throw and Richard scored a basket., to help the Vikings go on its own 6 - 0 run. 1st quarter score of 14 - 12 for the Wizards.

Vikings kept the momentum for another 2 minutes in the 2nd quarter to shortly go ahead 16 - 14, before Wizards locked the home team down for 3 minutes and went on a scoring spree with 15 points. Wizards now had a 13 point lead. A time out turned things around and the second half went 11 - 10 to Vikings. Due to the run, Wizards won the quarter 25 - 15 and the half time score was 39 - 27 in Wizards favour.

In the third quarter the Wizards build on their lead, by frustrating the Vikings defensively and forcing them in to numerous turnovers and bad shots. Vikings managed to only score 7 points in the entire quarter. The Leeds team took advantage of this and kept scoring at will, ending the quarter with 18 points. Wizards now had a 23 point lead.

With the game out of reach Vikings played for their pride, led by Andy Capes's 12 points, to win the final quarter 20 - 15.

Notes: Nick Hutchinson made his return from injury and had his 5th consecutive game scoring double figures and fourth consecutive game making at least 1 three pointer.
