After nearly a month of inaction, the first team travelled to Leeds to face the Demons.

The lack of games showed right in the beginning, with the Vikings chemistry off and the team turning the ball over quite a bit. The Demons made sure they took advantage of this and scored 14 points, before Andy Capes managed to score the first bucket for the Vikings. From that point Vikings started to find their rhythm and managed to outplay the Demons for the remainder of the quarter. First quarter score of 25 - 14 for Demons.

Vikings kept improving and played a very strong second quarter winning it 17 - 12. This meant the half time score was 37 - 31.

The second half started out to be an evenly matched affair between the two teams. At the end of the quarter though, the home team managed to go on a mini 6 - 2 run to win the quarter

20 - 15 and with this erasing the gains made in the 2nd quarter.

The York team kept pushing to close the gap and get in the game, but Demons managed to hold their own and counter everything that the Vikings threw at them. With a final quarter score of 23-22 for the Leeds team, the Demons managed to close out the game.

According to the scoresheet, which seems to have had quite a few errors, Vikings did not make a single three. This would be a first for either team this season.
