Having had over a 1.5 month break since their last HBA game, the Vikings were keen to get back into action. Especially after having lost the previous two games narrowly.

Vikings started the game with an impressive defensive performance, limiting the Kings to 3 points in the first quarter. Vikings managed to score 14, led by Vali Moldovan with 2 x 3 pointers in the first quarter.

The Kings managed to recover and broke down the defence of the Vikings scoring with an impressive 21 points, while holding the York team to 11. This meant a half time score of 25 - 24 for the Vikings.

After mixed fortunes in the first half, the Vikings came out determined to have a strong second half. Led by Oliver Barlow with 12 points, the York Team scored 19 points in the third quarter. The White Kings only managed to get 14.

Looking for the first win of the calendar year, the Vikings were determined to close out strong. This time led by Dan Day's 8 points the Vikings scored 14 points in the final quarter. Having regained their defensive focus the Viking Wall held and kept the Kings of Hull at bay limiting them to 8 points.
